A botanist teaches Toulouse residents the names of urban plants

Publié le 05 Mai 2026

Information

Video published by Brut

Boris Presseq has the habit, almost impulsively, of writing in chalk the names of the plants he comes across in the city.
The Toulouse resident, passionate about vegetation, walks through the city and marvels at every plant he finds in the smallest corners.
What may be simple weeds to us have, for him, a story and a personality.

Mr Presseq is a botanist at the Muséum de Toulouse, and this video lets us see the world through his eyes for a few minutes. He would like to make city dwellers aware of the importance of the nature around them. All the notes he writes in chalk have an educational and awareness-raising role.

So if you walk around Toulouse and find a chalk note, you will now know it comes from Boris Presseq sharing his knowledge. Pretty cool :)

Time-lapse of minced meat

InformationVideo published by Temponaut Timelapse In this disgusting video, Temponaut lets a block of minced meat rot for 27 days. We see flies take over the meat to lay eggs and spread larvae in it. I am quite happy to only have the image without the smell, because I think it must smell seriously...
