Living in the Amazon, this very unusual bird can produce calls up to 113 decibels. This way, it makes sure that its mate or potential mate (green in color) can hear it, even from very far away.
Impressive for a bird weighing barely 250 grams. The louder its call, the shorter it is, because of its limited breath capacity.
This small bird is also called Procnias albus, but we can all agree to call it the urban horn of the Amazon ;)
